In this article, I would like to tell you, How to rank you, your business, or anything on Google, basically on the Internet.

Google ranking is the position that your website is listed in Google when a user searches for a phrase or keyword. A ranking of 1 means that you are at the top. If you are number 11, that means that you are on page 2 of Google as most search results have 10 listings per page.

Fact : Determine whether your site is in Google’s index

Do a site: search for your site's home URL. If you see results, you're in the index. For example, a search for site:santhushajanana.cf returns this result.

1. What is SEO?

To rank high on Google, we must optimize our works for search engines. The work we do to get our ranking high is known as Search Engine Optimization simply SEO. Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of improving your website to increase visibility on popular search engines such as Google and Bing.

SEO targets unpaid traffic (also known as natural or organic) rather than direct traffic or paid traffic. Traffic means basically the users count who visit your website.

2. Why SEO is so important?

The survey done by Brian Dean and the team shows key points of why SEO is so important.

  1. The 1st result in Google’s organic search results has an average CTR(Click Through Rate) of 31.7%.
CTR for Search position
  1. The #1 organic result is 10x more likely to receive a click compared to a page in #10 spot.

The CTR is the ratio of users who click on a specific link to the number of total users who view a page, email, or advertisement. It is commonly used to measure the success of an online advertising campaign for a particular website as well as the effectiveness of email campaigns.

So, this survey suggests that when you are ranked high on Google search results, it makes your website more visible, and that means more traffic and more opportunities to convert prospects into customers.
